6.75 GPHR Credits at the US Global Mobility Summit, Chicago
The Global Mobility Conference on the 12-13 September was HRCI certified for 6.75 GPHR credits. All of those who attended will be eligible for these credits.
PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDED
- The Generational Divide: How Mobility + Talent Management = Business Value, Rebecca Ryan of Next Generation Consulting.
- Ann Marie Goddard of KPMG will then show how this leads to changing assignment structures and the implications of changing locations and tax laws with a panel including Sandra Howell and a Millennial assignee from Kraft.
- Lisa Rodriguez of Abbott Laboratories will give a Strategic Talent Deployment Update on her Talent Deployment plan for Abbott and will then lead a panel discussion of HR leaders on how they are becoming more strategic with their mobile workforces.
- Brian Friedman, Founder and CEO of FEM, will reveal the results of a major new survey on Global Mobility performance metrics, organizational structure and vendor benchmarking . The FEM released “Managing the Global Mobility Function” at the Chicago Summit. This 70 page plus research report costs $1900 and contains data from over 300 corporates and over 130 service providers. The Report was issued free of charge to any delegate that is physically present at the Chicago Summit (or the London Summit in November). Anyone not attending the Summit can still purchase the Report at the full cost of $1900 but to obtain a free copy, you must physically attend the Summit.
- Lynn Shotwell, Executive Director of ACIP, lead a panel on Immigration Policy: Current Issues and Concerns.
- In addition there was sessions on handling emergencies, risk management, compliance, technology, policy options and trends and further insights into the role of global mobility in Talent Management.
