A little over a year ago Lisa Rodriguez of Abbott Laboratories was tasked with managing Global Mobility for Abbott. Because of her background in Talent Acquisition and six sigma, one of the key initiatives that Lisa took on was to help Abbott become more strategic in the use of mobility assignments to identify and develop leaders for Abbott. With the help of some key supplier partners, Lisa formulated a plan to integrate assignments into an overall Talent Deployment plan for Abbott. The plan was designed to help enhance career growth of key employees and to benefit the organization by maximizing the return on investment of scarce mobility dollars. |
